I highly recommend the Orem Sports Medicine Center. I've been through three sets of PT here in a 15-year period for a hurt shoulder, then for a problem with my knee. These guys have a philosophy of teaching you how to fix the problem where possible rather than a quick fix that's going to make you have to come back over and over. Matt Bushnell is friendly and knowledgeable. I really like him as my PT. I've also worked with other people on the staff there, including another PT during a previous round of PT. That woman, and the assistants that work there - everyone is consistently friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about PT. If I am doing an exercise or stretch incorrectly, a friendly face will pop up pretty quickly to let me know. I like that in an office full of patients, they are paying attention to each one. I've seen a lot of other PT offices where this isn't the case so I've always been really impressed with them. They genuinely care about education for their staff, and improvement (not dollars) from their patients.

I ruptured my Achilles' tendon and had it surgically re-attached. My surgeon highly recommended this office.

I have been with the. Bushnells 1990. Great family

Matt is such a thorough PT. He not only rehabs your current injury, but will help address other issues you've had in the past to help you reach your physical activity goals. His practice focuses on rehabilitating the damaged tissue rather than just pure pain management. I'm seeing Matt after my ankle surgery. He's also answered questions I've had about past injuries that still haunt me. I've also referred my high school sister to Matt for help with her reoccurring shin splints. If for some reason my schedule hasn't worked to meet with Matt, Casey and all the other PT's are just as great.

Overall good experience at Orem Sports Medicine. The front desk ladies were always great. Very kind, helpful and cheerful, and always greeted me with a smile. The variety of machines was impressive, too. And I'm pretty sure only after my 1st visit, almost every employee knew my name. While doing the exercises & stretches per the therapists, some of them didn't seem to be doing anything, or seemed to be working a part of my body that wasn't needing therapy. That being said, I wish they'd explain the why's of the exercises & stretches so I knew their purpose and what I should be seeing/feeling. Or maybe I should have just asked. They also got a little too busy, sometimes. It's probably great for business, I get that, but walking in at my appointed time and having to wait for a table/room to open up was kind of frustrating. I never waited too long, though. Once I was told how to do an exercise, I was kind of just left on my own to do it, so I couldn't get immediate feedback on if I was doing them right/wrong. They also sometimes seemed a bit understaffed because when I did have a question, I usually had to wait a minute or two until one of the aids (who were running around and helping others - just busy) had a free moment to answer my question. However, looking back at my Achilles' tendon when I started and when I finished, I could definitely tell I had gained mobility, muscle and strength.

I went here for a nagging neck pain. The staff was always friendly and professional. Matt was informative on what each treatment was targeting. They were help to help me finally recover from a nagging neck pain that wouldn’t go away.
