Logan is amazing, I went after just getting through a long day and he was amazingly easy to talk to and very knowledgeable, I recommend seeing him
You might think that with a rating of 5 stars, I bought something. Although I didn't find the right shoe for the right price, I was really impressed with their customer service. They listened to my wants and needs and brought me shoes they thought I would like. Unfortunately, the ones I liked were too expensive and the ones I could afford, I didn't like little things about them. But it was a pleasure talking with and working with the salespeople. They have some really nice men's shoes for various activities and lifestyles.
I've only had one experience in this store, so maybe it was a fluke, but I won't be returning. I was looking for leather boots since the rest of the surrounding shoe stores like famous footwear, payless, carnival shoes etc only carry man-made materials. When I stumbled upon this store, I thought it might be the kind of store to carry nicer, genuine leather shoes.
Upon entering, we weren't greeted or acknowledged by the employees. In fact, a young male employee was just a few feet away from us but was too busy chatting with some young female customers about topics un-related to shoes to care that I was standing there holding a shoe and obviously trying to get assistance. (You have to ask for sizes to be brought out from the back) I finally gave up trying to get help from him and carried the shoe to the back of the store to see if there were any other employees that would help me. There was a nice girl at the register but she was busy helping another customer. When the previously mentioned employee was headed to the back, she asked him if he could grab the size I needed. He did not bother to get the shoes and she eventually had to go back and get them herself once she was finished with the other customer.
The next thing I did not like about this experience was that instead of giving the box to me to try on, she waited until I sat down then put the shoe on for me. I felt that it was an unnecessary waste of her time (she had other customers seeking her help) and made me feel uncomfortable. She put the boot on and then had to hurry to help the other customers. The boot didn't work for me so I took it off, tried to tell her thank you and left, feeling awkward and very much disappointed with my experience. It seemed like a store that would have higher quality shoes that other cheaper stores don't, but I noticed while there that they mostly carry a random assortment of regular shoes that you could find in any bigger shoe store for cheaper and without so much hassle of having to ask for sizes to be brought out to you.
They are very knowledgeable about shoes too, I have bad feet, am over weight and stand for 9 hours a day and he found me a great shoe that can take the pounding yet is gentle on my feet. I was disappointed however when the 12 rubbed my feet and the 13 was too large with no 1/2 size in between BUT... Logan to my rescue! He let me know they can stretch my shoes for free for the life of the product. I walked out with 2 pairs and very satisfied. Kudos to Logan and his team for excellent and knowledgeable service!
This negative experience could be since it was a semi-busy night and there were only 2 young employees, one of which wasn't willing to help, and it's the kind of store where you rely on the assistance of the employees to even try on a pair of shoes. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because the girl that helped us was kind and tried to help as much as she could in the circumstances and because they did have some genuine leather options.
This place was awesome! Logan the store manager made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. That's big for me I'll go out of my way to shop somewhere where the staff makes me feel wanted, and trade home delivered!
It was really nice to walk into the store, and have them do all of the work. They happily measured our children's feet, brought out everything in the type of shoe (runners) and size (even 1/2 sizes) we were looking for, put the shoes on their feet, and sprayed a protective layer on their shoes so they last longer. I also paid less than what I was expecting to. Loved our experience!
