They have real plus size clothes there for women with lace. So nice.
Staff was super helpful in finding me skinny jeans that are long enough.
They were friendly, but slow as a snail. They stood there trying to upsell a woman while three people stood in line. Their clothes hold up decently but don't fit super well. Try it if you are desperate but plan on waiting in long lines.
I love this store. I can always find clothing and shoes that fit me in styles that are comfortable, trendy, and make me feel awesome when I wear them, which is something that has been very hard for me to find in the past because I'm a 5'11" pushing 6'0" woman who is in that awkward body type that can go plus size or regular sizes or even neither depending on what store I'm in. What makes this location amazing is the ladies who work there. I have never walked in without being greeted with a happy, smiling, and genuinely helpful face asking if I am looking for anything in particular, why I'm coming in, what the deals are for the day, and if they can start a dressing room for me. Then once I'm in the dressing room they don't pester, but they have the timing down perfectly for when they check on me to see if I need new sizes and how things are going. I don't go shopping with my girlfriends often, because we are busy people so when I do go shopping I'm slipping away to go alone. When I go into this store it feels like I'm shopping with my girlfriends. They complement you on what you are picking out and how things are fitting you, but only when they fit you right. They aren't trying to complement you so you want to buy the item. One time I had a particular color top on that turned out to not be a very flattering cut on myself. I opened the dressing room door to see if one of the ladies could get me a size in a different item and she asked, "can I get you this other top that we have in that same color that I think you will like?" I knew that she was trying to politely tell me that top looked horrible and to please not buy it. I ended up not getting either top, but I thought that they way she went about trying to help me was very respectful and polite. I don't think they work on commission because I've never been asked who helped me at the register and the ladies have never made sure that I knew their names. I never feel like I'm being upsold at the register, but when I they see that I don't have items that pertain to the sale they remind me once about them and aren't pushy after that. I've shopped at other Maurices and this is by far the best location I've ever been to.
