I had no issues with their reservation system, abs I've eaten there three times. They do have limited reservations because it isn't really so much a restaurant as an event, dinners that happen maybe 5 times a semester in a small restaurant. I believe these dinners are tests for their culinary students. You just have to realize that if you're reserving you have to call early. No big deal.
What a joke because I called FIRST thing Monday morning and left a message. So is EVERY person from Thursday and Friday eating again? Impossible...
That said, the food is great. It's prepared by culinary students but tastes amazing! You get a six course gourmet meal for $20! Every time I've went it has been a fantastic experience.
"Reservations for the upcoming weeks cuisine will be open on a first come first serve basis beginning on the Monday of the week you would like to join us. Our guests who join us on Thursday or Friday will have first priority to make reservations for the upcoming week."
The food is amazing and the price is absolutely unbeatable. The best way to try upscale food of so many different cuisines on a budget. I've been going here for years, and every time I take a new friend, they beg me to bring them back again.
This restaurant is mainly run by students so go prepared to have it be a little slower but it's usually really good. It's fun to try all the different dishes.

The food is good. The service when you're there is good. But, their reservation system SUCKS. You have to call and leave a message. You don't hear back for more than a week, being left to wonder if you're even going to get your reservation. So have back up plans. They give preference on reservations to people who ate the previous week this is what was told to me. So.... I can't get a reservation if the previous weeks diners want to eat there again?? Well that's what happened. I called and left messages almost a month ago for this week. I got a phone call back 2 weeks after my first call and was told that the day I want to come and have my company party of 9 will be opened to previous diners first on Thurs and Fri and that I was to call back on Monday to make my reservation. Keep in mind this is 4 days before I needed to have the party now. Oh, and Monday was a holiday... So I finally (today, Thursday) got a phone call back telling me that unfortunately they were full. WTG Restaurant Forte!!!! You have THE WORST customer service I've ever seen. Why on earth would a previous diner be given preference for the next week? Here's an idea, why don't you make it first come first serve? You're dining availability is extremely limited. So why would you not let new people get to experience it? Well tell you what, you'll never see me or my company come through your doors again.
Fun experience, excellent food, cant beat the price for what you get.
